RKA was selected by Asian Development Bank after a very extensive research and intense screening of all architectural firms in India. This is the office for India Resident Mission of Asian Development Bank and is the first headquarters built by ADB after their main facility in Manila. The building is built on a 0.5 acre piece of land and has a built-up area of about 36,000 Sft distributed over Ground Floor and 3 Floors. This intelligent building has been designed to provide flexibility for future change and reorganization of the company. The planning and mechanical systems have been aimed at providing an energy efficient building that minimizes operational costs over the life of the building. The Interiors are designed in a modern and contemporary manner and flexible are planned in a manner such that they require minimum change on any reorganization.

It was inaugurated in Feb. 2002 by the President of ADB and the Finance Minister of India who praised the design and workmanship of the building.
